• The $500,000 cumulative capital investment provides an all-inclusive maternal and child health program

HONOLULU, March 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- 'Ohana Health Plan, a leading provider of government-sponsored managed care services in Hawaii and a Centene Corporation company(NYSE: CNC), today announced an additional $300,000 investment to Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii (HMHB Hawaii). The funding will expand 'Ohana Health Plan's "Mana 'Ohana" partnership program with HMHB Hawaii.

Mana 'Ohana is an all-inclusive maternal and child health program that addresses key supportive elements that are directly beneficial to women members, pregnant members, and young families. The program is a community-based, person-centered, midwifery-led model of care that offers 'Ohana Health Plan members a holistic perinatal care experience. Mana 'Ohana brings social and clinical support services where people need them.

"In the first year, more than 40 percent of our pregnant population received services through 'Mana 'Ohana.' The program offers 'Ohana Health Plan members exclusive access to a broad-based program designed to screen, triage, and support women and their newborns throughout the critical perinatal period. It provides culturally anchored and responsive outreach and services that meet members where they are.
