LOUISVILLE, Ky. / Sep 03, 2025 / Business Wire / CenterWell Home Health, one of America’s largest home health providers, is preparing to launch its 21^st annual Food Fundraising Drive, an effort to fight food insecurity in the communities it serves.

From Sept. 4 through Oct. 3, numerous CenterWell Home Health branches across the country will be collecting food and funds to benefit local food banks in the communities they serve. The three most successful branches at the end of the drive will be rewarded with $5,000 cash grants from the Humana Foundation to supplement the campaign.

At the same time local collections are taking place, CenterWell will offer a second option for those who wish to make financial contributions to the drive. Feeding America, a national organization that provides meals to its network of 200 partner food banks across the U.S., will accept financial donations from people wherever they are: CenterWell Home Health Feeding America 2025.

CenterWell is the health care services division of Humana, and this year’s Sept. 4 drive launch coincides with Humana Community Day – a company-wide day of service designed to bring associates together to strengthen their sense of belonging, build camaraderie, and make a tangible impact in the communities where they live and work.

Over the years, CenterWell Home Health has collected and donated more than 1.4 million meals to people in need.

According to 2022 data from Feeding America, 7 million Americans 60 years old or older face food insecurity.
